There were more requests to 'break it up' than not to group certain equipment questions together. There is still a general Tech forum if the post does not apply to any of the specific pieces of gear.

Same here. I mentioned that right in the beginning when it changed. It's not fun reading the forum anymore. Sorry, just my opinion.

Obviously a lot of people care. I never even noticed, because my entry point is:

On top of that, I have a Greasemonkey script that cuts out all the posts from the piracy forum and the Lounge. Works great for me, but I can see how someone's view might differ.

Micky it is good you have an entry point you like.
It is a personal thing.
It works but is not in my comfort zone.
Normal entry I like one door to go through.
I will not go through one then in turn choose a load more doors.
Is not going to happen.
It is a shame because I liked to visit it.
It seems that I was not alone.
Or maybe it's because I'm an old guy and don't like change.
I expect the tech forum has quadrupled it's throughput since it was improved.
Maybe it's just a forum for young guns now.
