I'm trying to figure out the karaoke manufacturers codes. I can't figure out this one. It's from lonmans productions database. example: Beatles Across The Universe LMP19-08 Beatles While My Guitar Gently Weeps LMP09-07 What manu is LMP? Thanks. |

I just checked Music Book Deluxe's database and neither of those tracks show up in any mfr's listing as those particular track numbers. Have you viewed the video files to see if the mfr is displayed anywhere during the song? I would assume that if you are in possession of a non-labeled disc, that whatever the file-name is could merely be a files designation assigned by the individual who copied the file. |

Not speaking for Lonnie, but in all likelyhood that is a designation for his custom disc. In my system the customs are listed as "CU" any of my own productions are listed as "LD" (Lame Duck). |

Again I am not speaking for Lonnie, when I get a custom disc be it Chartbuster, Sunfly, Sound Choice or has happened in the past from a company who puts different manus all on a custom disc (like Zoom, Sunfly and Easy) I list all of them under CU in my data base giving each one a designation like CU01- (whatever the track number is), CU02-, and so on. It was just a method I use to simplify where I put those songs and disc. |

summergleason wrote: Great but i want to know what manus is LMP. Is it SC, Zoom, Sunfly? What they've been trying to tell you is that it could be NONE of them. It could be an instrumental track that Lonman added the graphics to. So it is not one of the conventional "manufacturers" (not "manus") listed. |

summergleason wrote: Great but i want to know what manus is LMP. Is it SC, Zoom, Sunfly? Haven't done this in over a year but when I had custom songs in the past, and I had to catalog them, I cataloged them with KBK for my business name. Had nothing to do with any manu. |

Whenever I've resorted to building a Karaoke track that I've been unable to find elsewhere... such as Johnny Cash's "Cocaine Blues", I use my initials in the manufacturer's field. |

more examples: Johnny Cash Folsom Prison Blues LMP33-09 Beach Boys Barbara Ann LMP36-04 These songs are readily available so what special version could Lonman make of these? |

Thunder nailed it. My own code for custom discs via Sound Choice, Chartbuster & Selectatrack (which consists of several different brands Sunfly, Zoom, SBI, etc.). LMP= LonMan Productions. Not a manufacturer. |
