so i just ordered a disc from the custom disc link from sound choice.

I picked my songs and setup my play order same as the sc8125 eagles disc.

to my surprise the contents were exactly the same.

some of the opening screens were grey or blue, and they all are sound choice labeled songs.

great buy compaired to the 300-$400 price tag on ebay.

nice to be able to replace the cd legally.

I wonder if there's anything in the package that limits it to "home use only?"

Not that you want it obviously now but you won't have to pay 300 or 400 on ebay. I bought mine for well under 200. I would have went this way as well but I wanted the disc as a collectible.

If you get a 15 song disc at today's conversion rate that is $72.75 plus shipping
I think I'll pass.

Am I the only one that noticed that the label
said "CD+G" and also says "does not contain printed lyrics"? Huh?

Someone please de-confuse me. Are there lyric swipes or not? Mightywiz?

I flinch at the price, also--but if I have requests for 15 different songs from singers and it would take buying 15 different discs to get them then the $75 comes out as less. Yes, you get 15 discs worth of songs if you do it the other way so the price per song is less but with even a songbook of just 6000 at the moment, we still end up with lots of duplicates buying discs so it is always a process to weigh it back and forth each time we order.

BTW- does this mean that SC is still importing discs for re-sale/distribution that are licensed under the same laws as the UK yet unlicensed in the U.S.? Or are these discs already in-country?

Mightywiz? Does not contain printed lyrics means it does not have a jacket inserted with the lyrics printed (like Pocket Songs does on some of their CDGs and CDs). If it did not contain On-Screen lyrics, it would have said that or does not contain Graphics.
