i listen to a bit of the original and then the 3 versions (or however many there are) and pick the closest to the original. all 3 have been my choice at different times for different songs. i don't think there is one real answer. kinda like CB for country....unless it's Garth, then its Radio Starz.

For newer music, none of the above. Have lately started using Karaoke Version since they give you a voice into what gets made. In fact 6 out of 7 of my latest acquisitions are Karaoke Version with the 7th being SBI since I couldn't get Picture via KV or CB.

Even caught a couple SGB tracks.

Do you mean SBI or BMI? I was thinking you meant SBI but your mind, as usual, was in the toilet.
We do custom discs and not downloads but SBI and Zoom are usually tied with SBI having the slight edge. Zoom can have loud, "busy" arrangements, SBI can mess up the words. Sunfly is usually for songs neither of the other two have. They have improved but for some reason there is always just something that keeps them behind like no lead in note/beats on songs where the voice has to start before the music or they abbreviate a song or just always one little thing, it seems.

Sunfly has been using SBI music for the last year or so - maybe longer.

Do you think SBI is using other brands also? Every now and then there will be a screen other than the blue and it looks familiar but I can't put my finger on it.

9 out of 10 it will be zoom.. But there selection isn't as good as SBI so that would be my second choice.
Sunfly for the tracks that no one else has.
