Ask to be a member of the KJ group.. Someone will change your permissions..

OK - this is crazy. I found Lonman's profile and did not see an icon to send a PM. Finer, IU'll go the long way around. I went to my profile and was given the same message:

You do not have the required permissions to use this function.

So, I'm a KJ (I've been a KJ for many many many years - since the beginning with those huge Pioneer disks!) who can't look at a KJ forum AND I can't PM anyone about it.

Help? Please?

KJ Forum is a usergroup you must request to join - always been that way. In the user control panel, click on user groups & follow instructions.

Tryingcake - you are currently a newbie to the forum. You will not have certain forum privileges until after you become a "Regular" Registered Member.

1. It doesn't take long to get the required posts and
2. Not much goes on in the KJ forum--it is not used very often. So don't feel excluded yet--it's not like there's a secret party going on with all sorts of inside info that you are missing out on.
3. Not to say that you couldn't rev things up in the KJ forum once you are in.

It is a sort of Spam prevention.

We don't want newbies sending PM spam to members.

That is why we require a minimum post count of 3. You have apparently already reached that now!
