Looking for the song Hava Nagila. Found it on a few "Jewish Wedding" discs. However, this song is going to be sung by (1) of my regulars, and NEVER be used otherwise. I like pleasing my singers, but 20.00 to 25.00 for 1 song is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind if there were other songs on the disc that "might" be used, but "jewish wedding" songs, what's the odds that ANY of them will ever get sung. If anyone knows of a disc that has it, along with "regular songs", or has a used disc they'd like to part with, please let me know. Just thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks, Rosario |

You can get it on a SC custom. You would need 5 songs minimum, but that usually isn't too hard to find. http://www.mykaraokecdg.com.au/customer ... h_for=hava |

Tell the person that wants to sing it so badly to pay for the disc and you ALWAYS have it available for them..... win-win... |

You can download it from Tricerasoft for peanuts, an SBI version (or an MM, I recommend the SBI). |

I had "suggested" to the regular that I could get it, but it would cost 25.00, and re-iterated that he would be the only person singing it, but he made no attempt to offer to even split the cost. I really didn't want to go custom, since I've been purchasing so much music recently. I was hoping to find a used copy cheap. Oh well, guess he'll have to wait til it pops up. Thanks to all. Rosario I have a suggestion, Rosario... Anybody that would want to sing Hava Negila probably knows the words pretty well...any Jew older than about 10 knows the words (trust me). And the words repeat over and over again. Here's the entire set of lyrics: Hava nagila, hava nagila, Hava, nagila venis mecha. Hava nagila, hava nagila, Hava nagila venis mecha. Hava neranena, hava neranena, Hava neranena, venis mecha. Hava neranena, hava neranena, Hava neranena, venis mecha. Uru, uru achim, Uru achim belev sameach, Uru achim belev sameach, Uru achim belev sameach, Uru achim Uru achim belev sameach. That's (count 'em) 9 WORDS repeated over and over. It's slightly more complicated than Tequila. So...tell them you'll play the instrumental (many party versions are instrumental and you can probably get one for .99 at Amazon) and they are welcome to sing it. You can even print out these complicated lyrics for them. |
