I tried to submit my problem to this site via the "contact us" page, but when I pressed the submit button I was told that my request was not submitted because I am coming from an unauthorized domain.

Perhaps that's why I can't do anything with the Singer's Showcase but listen to submissions...?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hmmm, sometimes I have found this to be a cache problem. Try clearing your cache.
IE > Tools > Internet Options > (under Temporary Internet File) click Delete Files...

Also, you may want to clear your cookies (Warning this will delete many stored usernames & passwords)
IE > Tools > Internet Options > (under Temporary Internet File) click Delete Cookies...

I do both of these at least once a week.

Further, the server has a block on certain domains & IPs that are known spammers - not that you are but the IP address that you use or the ISP you have or maybe the domain where you have your email, is on that list?

It's possibly the last problem you mentioned. I've had my mails blocked by AOL before because the host I use employs the same mail server in Hong Kong that has been flagged for allowing spammers. I've complained, but nothing has seemed to improve.

If I were to use my primary ISP listing (tampabay.rr.com) as my mail address rather than my own domain e-mail (eventide7.com), do you think it would do any good? I can't imagine Road Runner has been banned from your servers.

I changed my e-mail address to my tampabay.rr.com one. Still no dice. My cache is clear, cookies deleted, offline content deleted, and still bupkis.

hmmm, checked to see if tampabay.rr.com is blacklisted and it is with two SPAM lists.

Let me investigate further to see if I can resolve your delima.

You shouldn't have problems with Singer's Showcase, but apparently you are?!

rr.com does at time get to be a problem addy for spamming according to AOL.. due to a previous period of lack of ip enforcement on thier part .. That has since changed since a recient law was enacted.

Even my firewall sees alot of action still from addy's bearing the 'rr.com' addy.. I know it's not you.

Probably teenagers.

Try getting a FREE email through karaokescene.net!

BTW - for those who have requested an email address - I'll get to those this week! Promise, I've just been real busy. Plus there are quite a few that have requested them in the last two weeks, so it may take me a bit...

That would be really nifty if I could do it, but when I hit the Submit button, it tells me my request was not submitted because I my domain is unauthorized.

So now the issues are:
1) Can't log onto Singer's Showcase
2) Can't submit a problem report because I'm coming from an "unauthorized domain"
3) Can't request an e-mail address through Karaoke Scene because I'm coming from an "unauthorized domain"

I have Videotaped some of the "Singer's Showcase" Recording sessions.. and a few gags & gigs that I have done live going back all the way to just before Nashville. I may release them in a "Underground" DVD. Depending on interest. For the cost of pressing and production expenses. So far the videos are quite amusing and almost have a "Jackass" Flavor to them. It's pure evil.. It even shows a few times that I was having problems getting on KS... Dern AOL!!! and to think I cussed out Phill for it... Of course not directly..
