Hey everyone, like most of you we are bringing in the New Year with a bang, DJ & Karaoke lol. But we always try to incorporate some games of some sort for fun. This year we are doing the "limbo" (always big fun) and then a game for couples in which they use a balloon, starting from their feet, working towards the upper body. No hands! and then it has to be popped via anything other than hands. Fun to watch!
I would like to hear some of your comments on past or present plans of similar,
Thanks!

Birdofsong and I have a gig where we work from 10:00pm only until midnight when we count down the firework display.

Nice short job that pays a lot with an audience of 12,000 people literally "dancin' in the streets" (meaning it's also outdoors)..

Looks like nice weather for that this year. You might have an even bigger turn out.

I would hope so... but the problem is that the streets are only so wide... you can only fit so many people up close... then it becomes farther and farther away.... The "end of the audience" is close to a quarter mile now and it's wall-to-wall sardine standing room only.

It's also amazing how quickly an audience of this size disappears into the clubs and taverns that stay open late just on this night. 12,000 people clear out in about 15 minutes..... and then the army of street-sweepers come out to clean up the mess and they are incredibly efficient. By 1:30 am the whole area is completely returned to normal....
