| Post subject: | What exactly is "Musical Peception" |
Just to satisfy my curiosity, I took an online test from the BBC that was some sort of "musicality test". While I expected to do well on it, one result surprised even me. According to the test, I scored higher than 99% of the population in "musical perception". I'm just curious as to whether or not that is something I should be proud of, is it something that is particularly difficult to score highly in? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Enthusiasm - 96% Musical Perception - 99% Emotional Connection - 76% Social Creativity - 88% Musical Curiosity - 78% Group The Music - Everything grouped properly Match the Beat - missed 2 Tap to the beat - was high in all but 2 which were medium Melody Memory - missed 2 |

You got it wrong mate. 0 is the high score. I got 3. I am beating you by a mile. |

Very interesting test. I am surprised at the lower emotional connection score as I consider musical very key to emotion. Enthusiasm - 92% Musical Perception - 99% Emotional Connection - 76% Social Creativity - 97% Musical Curiosity - 99% Group The Music - Matched Jazz & Rock, Swapped one Pop/Hip Hop Match the Beat - missed 1 Tap to the beat - was high in all but 4 which were medium Melody Memory - missed 1 |
