Anyone have any good ideas for getting fundraisers set up at the venue? I am thinking maybe a contest or something... I would like to raise money for the American Lung Association and think karaoke would be a great way to get it done. Let me know if you have any ideas or if you might be interested in helping to set this up in the SoCal area, maybe even across the country at various locations.

How about setting up a 50-50 Raffle during the show? Sell the tickets at something like $5 each. Winner of the drawing gets half the pot, and the other half goes to Charity.

Since this is for the Lung Association, have people commit to donating 25 cents for every cigarette turned in or $5 per pack turned in. (or whatever amounts you decide).

Then you could have a mass cigarette burning and take donations from smokers that wish to stand downwind. :)

contact the lung association first.. tell them you want to do a fund raiser.

you have to have their permission to do a fund raiser in the first place!

they will send you out a packet and get all required information about you and tools you will need for a successful fund raiser...
