Post subject:  chartbuster was forced to close doors!

i just came from the compuhost forums and this is what i read:

Dear KJ Media Pro HD Users,

As some of you may already be aware, Chartbuster Karaoke has been ordered to close its doors permanently effective May 10, 2012. The Chartbuster library will be transferred to a new company, "DigiTrax Karaoke". As the name implies, DigiTrax will focus entirely on modern day digital delivery methods utilizing technologies such as KJ Media Pro HD, Streaming, and other exciting new delivery technologies for the future. Although their new website is not quite ready for primetime, please stop by and enroll in their mailing list at http://www.digitraxkaraoke.com .

We've been working diligently with both Chartbuster and DigiTrax regarding the transfer of the KJ Media Pro HD delivery platform and continue to work toward that effort. However, in light of very recent and unforeseen legal obstacles, it may be necessary to suspend the KJ Media Pro HD program for a period of time during the transition. Unfortunately, at this time we're unable to predict the amount of time that may be required to finalize the transition.

In the meantime, as already stated, Chartbuster Karaoke has been ordered to cease all operations effective May 10, 2012, including management of the KJ Media Pro HD accounts. Therefore, it's vitally important that you withdraw ALL credits from your online account(s) before May 10, 2012, preferably as soon as possible. After May 10, 2012, the accounting server will be shutdown as ordered, and all credits on account will be forfeited.

Previously, the KJ Media Pro HD technology, although developed by us, was licensed to, sold by, and managed entirely under the control and responsibility of Chartbuster Karaoke. Fortunately, as part of the transition, we'll be taking over full control of the technology, allowing us the opportunity to provide a more dependable, effective and convenient end user experience. We're excited to be working with DigiTrax, as well as other content providers, furthering the development of not only the KJ Media Pro HD technology, but also future delivery technologies that will surely benefit the entire industry.

Once again...
PLEASE WITHDRAW ALL CREDITS CURRENTLY DEPOSITED IN YOUR ONLINE KJ MEDIA PRO HD ACCOUNT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BUT ABSOLUTELY BEFORE MAY 10, 2012! FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF ALL REMAINING CREDITS!

We'll continue to keep you posted as the transition progresses. Hopefully it will be short lived.

Wow. We were advised to keep most of our credits online in case of a computer crash, you can lose all your credits you aren't storing online. I lost 60 such credits. So now I will have them hanging out there precariously again!

Moving forward, I see this as a good deal. Hope to see other manus jump on this. This is the future.

So for all those that bought the hard drive and haven't unlocked that many songs
you may have wasted $199.00 plus the cost of the program to unlock it I don't
remember the name or price.

Who knows when the new company will get it up and running!

Then comes the fact that the music on it may not be legal because it wasn't
licensed ?

Bobby,

For those who want to use Compuhost sales occur semi often. I just caught a sale on MTU Hoster (2 system install)(I prefer it for ability to play LD files very easy). Karma is also a great program. I look forward to the day when a free unlock program will be available for those who wish to use the Media-Pro technology that Compuhost developed...if it continues as I find it a cost effective way to add NEW tracks in an easy manner.

Blessings
Athena

Just because that was posted on Compuhost doesn't mean it's true. I'd like to see that Order.
