As Digitrax is not yet "up and running" it is too early...

I just got back in town, and today was the first chance I had to transfer my remaining credits down. I was able to do that, so the credit system is working fine -- at least today. I was told 5/10 was the date I should get it done by....

LSing,
I'm sure you didn't mean it this way, but remember that no one is going to transfer your credits. You must withdraw them BY TODAY into your local credit bank, then CompuHost will honor them at some point in the future. If you leave them on the Chartbuster database, they will be deleted!
CompuHost didn't particularly say that they would be coordinating with DigiTrax to give new access to the old Chartbuster database, just that Invicion would be the new administrator of the HDPro. I'm sure this is going to be a relatively long process.........

They still aren't live as of this posting. I earlier predicted they would not go live until today or tomorrow at the earliest since the May 10 and May 11 dates are the ones that keep floating around about CB ceasing to operate on one of those two dates. Tomorrow at the earliest, but I am now suspecting that it will take even longer for the DigiTrax site to go live. -Chris

The email I received from CompuHost indicated that DigiTrax intended to be up and running by late May. That's as specific as they got.

Yeah, I got the news about Compuhost when I was one day into a two-week trip.

I wonder how long it will be before the actual owners of these dubious Chartbuster tracks get around to filling law suits against digitrax...the same way they filed suit against CAVS for making money with Chartbuster tracks that had no right to exist in a karaoke format under the Chartbuster brand.
The clock will be ticking very soon.

The clock will be ticking very soon. Why would they? Digitrax didn't supply anything to any company under false pretenses. They just acquired the trademark and catalog.

From what I have read, Chartbuster's Catalog is full of songs that were never properly licensed. Someone else selling those songs should be just as illegal as when Chartbuster sold them to CAVS. On a second note; if the songs were an asset that could be sold or transferred; shouldn't those songs be part of the judgement that CAVS won against Chartbuster? Maybe CAVS will be the first one to file a law suit againt digitrax to obtain the Chartbuster assets that have been sold instead of being part of the $400,000 judgement that was owed to CAVS.
