Post subject:  Hello

The last show i did was a christmas party at the Hilton here in Fort Collins. I dont even have a system anymore. After a lifetime of singing in public and peroids of 7 nights a week karaoke I can give some backsights and overall thoughts.
Karaoke at first was enjoyed by many, a great mass of bonds were formed many many venues. They were the greatest of times. It was fairly easy to build a fairly decent system with a few thousand tracks and ENJOY HAVE FUN AND KARAOKE. Then it started deteoriating when many started hosting and undercut standard prices. Next came the number of tracks war OH I have 25k tracks.
I was one of the first that was doing digital shows and to be honest for a decade it was MOSTLY just converting what cds I paid good money for into digital. I have a lifetime of profes sional ethics When SC and others started poking their fingers and accusing at this time the fun and magic of karaoke was going down the tubes. If anybody did walk into one of my shows and started anything I would have had their arms pinned behind their back and in the backm alley I would have ....
I miss the the good old days but not the ones at last. It was all about legal arguments and money money.. The entertainment I gave to crowds some over 5000(singing) I never charged for I have had a belief that certain things are precios enuff they should not have a monetary value placed upon them. It has been an awesome ride though and a lifetime of memories good and bad.
And I miss the friends here and the fun and discussions here and Knight ShowHELLO AMIGO..
I have no answers for the future but I do know it will never be the way it once was..
