not any here in s.e. washington state or central Idaho that I know of..... but interesting idea. worth looking into it. |

Another host in our area has business cards with QR codes that link to her online songbook. She gives them to patrons that appear to have smart phones. Looked like a good idea to me so I had QR codes linking to our online songbook printed on stickers that I put on the front of our books. I point them out to the patrons I see with smart phones and recommend that they save a shortcut. They then don't need a book unless they just want to browse. |

I polled some college students on QR codes about 6 months ago, less than 20% said they used them with any regularity. I need to poll again to see if the percentage is going up or down. I personally scan them very rarely. -Chris |

Hardly anyone knows what they are, much less knows how to use them. Big flop, according to an article I read recently. |

We've even stopped installing those apps on people's phones as a demonstration tool because they never, ever get used. I use the app maybe once every two months, at most. |

Used them to link to my online songbook for a year now. Rarely if at all used, but it was free to set up and I'm of the theory better to have something not used than something needed. |
