btw......Gangnam Style refers to living the well-to-do lifestyle of those that live in the Gangnam District in South Korea. Gangnam District is a very affluent area near Seoul and is often used as a location for filming Korean K-Pop music videos and movies. Think Beverly Hills....

A korean-american requested this song for me to get. Popularized by south Korean hip-hop sensation that goes by the name of Psy (short for Psycho) his video went viral. This guy can sing & dance. His dance moves are so popular internationally among teenagers & young adults it’s now a dance craze. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60MQ3AG1c8o

JR, I think it will be a challenge to sing this song. I tried to sing along from the video, I failed miserably! :lol: Here’s part of the lyrics: Najeneun ttasaroun inganjeogin yeoja, Keopi hanjanui yeoyureul aneun pumgyeok inneun yeoja, Bami omyeon simjangi tteugeowojineun yeoja, Geureon banjeon inneun yeoja :)

:lol: I sing Sukiyaki by Kyu Sakamoto every once in a blue moon........I posted it in the singers showcase as a challenge several weeks ago.....not many takers... :lol: ......I'm pretty versatile, and my motto is quantity over quality....I don't stay very long with songs, and keep moving on trying not to repeat songs too often. Guess that's why I don't nail any...... :) the dancing part is out of the question, though.... :lol:

Wow. Had to have the DJ version of this song. Can't wait to whip this one out on a crowd. Have to have a good lead in song to i though. Johnny have Bruce make a karaoke version for you if you can't find this. Love to see you sing it!

Would LOVE to get a Karaoke version of Gangnam Style.

Worldwide phenomena. Over 116 million views on YouTube. PSY has been signed to a major US record label, he was on the MTV awards, Ellen, Ryan Seacrest, etc. You can't seem to escape him and his "horse dance".

Check out the size of this crowd in Korea. That's a LOT of people.

Just watched him on the Today Show this morning. Seems LOTS of people were singing along with the song and knew all the words, lol. He even taught everyone how to do his dance thats in the video.

Thanks, Bazza. I dl performance tracks & multiplex version to aid me in learning the song. I figure how hard could it be if I can see the lyrics. Wrong! Same as my first attempt I butchered the song. LOL So now, I’ll just try to learn to sing it in English. Here’s english translation link.
