so i called karaoke cloud pro, and guess who answered it was gretchen. i asked a couple question: what happens when subscription ends, does the music dissapear or stop working? answer: yes who is producing new music? answer: we are, 20 songs a month, that will be weekly updates..... so it will still be chartbuster music, excuse I mean "digitrax". last question was about SoundChoice, they are still in negotiations with them, and they had no idea about new music from them. so my problem is if I put out $1200 or $2400 a year, and don't get to keep it when my subscription ends. I would rather spend that $1200-2400 a year on new disc's or downloads! |

I guess this whole cloud thing was going to be Chartbuster's BIG announcement that was going to change the karaoke world. Since they got found guilty in their CAVS law suit. They just put it under a new name and moved on, with the same people that ran Charbuster now just moving the shells in their new game. No different than the OLD ALL HITS, DANGEROUS and HELLUVADISC shell game. When you get caught with your hand in the cookie jar; you just close up shop and open up under a new brand name until you get again, and again, and again. Rinse and repeat. Now they don't even want to sell you anything. They want to rent it to you. They want to be able to pirate their merchandise and stop others from doing the same to them. Now if Sound Choice really wanted to sue someone for unfair competition; there is their defendant. ...but they would probably just file bankruptcy and go out of business and turn up somewhere else with a new business name and start all over again. |

"The Cloud" is actually just an an advertising concept.. The Internet has always been described as "The Cloud" because all levels of internet connection are there.. Levels one through seven.. If you "Google" TCP-IP, you find seven levels of connection.. So, I fail to see "The Cloud" any better than an internet server FTP connection.. I call BS! You can find the 7 levels here.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OSI_model Give me a break.. |

While true the IP stack has multiple layers, it's pointless information because no consumer product/experience resides below the application layer. It's like pointing out that interstate highway pavement has 5 layers and then claiming Goodyear and Kelly make identical tires. |

It' just a server out there.. |
