Post subject:  Need Songs w/Outro's

Fillin' in as KJ tomorrow nite. I'm still gonna to do a bunch of songs, just like any other nite, but now I need songs that play out after the lyrics are done, so I can get back to the player and hit stop. It takes about 20 seconds because the player is at the back of the bar. I do mostly standards, classic country and one-hit-wonders from the 60's, but I'd appreciate it if you could list any songs with the outro.

Just know when the song is going to end & be at the player. You can tell on most songs, although some will come & sneak up on you - but you as the host should be able to tell when the song is going to end & be there for to call the next singer.

I'm guessing no wireless mic?

If you have to sing right up until the end of a song on a wired mic at the front of the room w/ the baord/player at the back it could get interesting.

The JVC/RSQ 333 has a switch for karaoke mode so the next song doesn't start playing. At least the next song won't start and you'll get silence.

I know that Freebird and Ice Ice Baby have outro's, but I can't think of any others off the top of my head. Don't know if Ice Ice is a full 20 seconds but it's got one.

From The Beginning by Emerson Lake and Palmer hass a long outro. The long outro version is on Sound Choice (SC). The SC version of Wildfire by Michael Murphy has a pretty decent piano outro. Flirtin' With Disaster has a long outro as well. It's by Molly Hatchet. I think Highway Song does too.

How about Hotel California by the Eagles? That has the longest outro I've EVER heard ;)
