Can anyone give any recommendation on which karaoke mixer is better? I am looking at API M-401, Audio2000 AKJ7615 or AKJ7045?

I have read alot of good thing on Audio2000s. Has anybody compare the sound quality on these 3 devices - AKJ7615, AKJ7045 and AKM7015?

Thank you.

Are you planning on using this with a computer and/or a karaoke machine?

Most karaoke machines offer mic inputs, key change (on better players), and echo. They also use 1/4" mic inputs (like the models you mentioned) and don't require an external mixer. If a remote and integration into your home stereo is important to you then one of these will work just fine. BTW, for the price of the M-401 ($299) you could go to a Mackie DFX-12 w/ onboard effects and still have $60 in your pocket. No remote, doesn't look like home stereo equipment, but it's professional level equipment and will likely give you a MUCH better sound.

If you'll be doing most of your singing through a computer you can always go to a Soundcraft Compact 4 which integrates nicely w/ computer recording and have $150 in your pocket or overkill w/ the Compact 10 w/ $50 in your pocket. These two don't have onboard effects - they expect that to be handled in recording or through other equipment by way of the insert points.

Just some options alternatives which may confuse you, but if you had to use one of the models mentioned, I'd probably go with the M-401 based on features and number of inputs.
