Did you know....
They don't provide a song list? I wonder why that is....
Their "Search" function doesn't work. I sent two emails this morning, informing them I was having trouble searching tracks. They basically told me I was crazy. Come to find out, thanks to Lonnie and others, turns out you must actually register and be logged in to search tracks. They should have investigated the matter using the most obvious scenarios before telling me the problem was on my end and I should delete my cookies. Maybe that is the type of service you can expect from them in the future.
Do these "technical" frustrations remind you of anything? Reminds me a lot of Chartbuster and their old POS website that everyone complained about.
Wait - it's the same people. NO WONDER!!!!

Troy, it seams you are confusing the Karaoke Cloud Pro consumer site/service with the professional integration of the Karaoke Cloud Pro service. Digitrax offers and API for karaoke software developers like our company, PCDJ, to offer the service in-app. Take a look at our page, maybe this will help clear up some confusion (we also have a songbook listed for current tracks, although it does need some tidying up and updating): http://www.pcdj.com/karaoki-and-karaoke-cloud-proIn short, when used in our software the files and software features all work just as if these were mp3+G files stored on your drive (the KCP files are indeed stored locally), without limitation. Search, key adjust, creating songbooks, etc - all work identically. I suspect you will see the KCP service offered in competitive products to Karaoki shortly. Thanks

I do know that there are differences between the two, but I admit have assumed, this far, that the tracks would be the same. All of my communication did generate from the consumer site using links provided on that site. I could not get into the Karaoke PRO site because I did not want to "register for a sales call". I wanted to browse tracks on my own and did not want someone calling me. Why on earth would they not allow this?
Thanks for the link, by the way.

I'm pretty sure all the tracks are indeed the same. But since it's "in" the software, you use the karaoke software's engine/features. So the in-app use of the cloud is strictly for the files (you also download, not stream) and it's not driven by the website etc. I just want to be clear on the distinction.

One wuick thing while you're here - Aaron Lewis did not sing "Where The Stars & Stripes And The Eagles Fly" - That's Aaron Tippin.
Nor did he sing "The Lazy Song" - that's Bruno Mars.
Now that I look at more songs in that Excel file, I see that it is like Gretchen Wilson, All Jacked Up.

Yeah, it's pretty janky isn't it? . I may just pull the songbook down until I can create a proper one. We're working on an export to excel type function in our software so you can easily create a book from the cloud songs (You can print now, but not export) We used a really round about method to create the current one we have listed. Evidently it didn't work to well...

Lonman wrote: Really, a song list having....gasp - mistakes? That never happens!!! Lonnie, that list is totally unusable. Every Artist with "The" preceding their name (i.e. The Beatles) has the corresponding song title listed as "The". Same with "A". And, the songs are pushed down, and the number of offset cells increases as you go down. Look at it. You'll agree.

Are you using Microsoft Interop to facilitate the export?
I use it for my songbook program. It makes it much easier...

Honestly, not sure, but I think that would be easily implemented considering Karaoki is a .Net based application. Thanks

Alright. Downloaded. Not seeing the "THE" artists, everything is listed with the the at the end ie Doobie Brothers, The Yes I can see everything is shifted 1 cell down (or up). Doesn't necessarily make it unuseable. If you are looking for song titles, you can still pretty much find them.

I know what the problem is, the values are assigned to an array in a for...next loop and the cells value are being assigned the first and second values in the array. But, there is a comma in some of the songs, which means that there is more than just two values in the array. The title cell should have UBound value in the array.
If you have a CSV of the songs, I could hook it up real quick.

Where did you download yours? None of the artists start with 'the' on the copy i'm looking at.

If I’m listed & the caller knows my name, at&t will release my phone #. They will even auto connect.
