Very nice presentation. May I ask what you typically can charge with a setup like that? I have a great wedding system, but definitely lack in the presentation department. I'm always nice and clean, but certainly nothing fancy. |

...Good look there, simpech. How long does it take you to set-up with the lights and do you do it by yourself or have help? I enjoy having and using lights but had to get rid of my truss, just takes way to long to set-up. Now I just set-up 2-4 T-Bars with the lights already clamped and connected. Such a time saver! |

Topher, our standard rate is $800. This includes the lighted facade and 2 speakers. In this set up I tossed in the speaker stand scrims as they didn't want to add subs (we just put the 153'sday in deep bass) The uplighting around the room was charges out at $45 per light The gobo projector of hearts was $75 (I charge $150card when i have to get a custom one made, such as their name and date etc) Because of the room size we added 2 speakers and that was an additional $100 We also provided sound outside for the wedding, 2 speakers, 2 cordless mic on stand and mixing board for the acoustic people to sing. This was an extra $150 |

Thanks for the info. I don't actively seek out wedding gigs, but 5-6 a year find me through my bi-weekly karaoke gigs. I turn down as many as I take. I think once my 2:30 a.m. karaoke days are behind me, which is rapidly approaching, I'm going to get more into high end wedding gigs, but for now, I have enough on my plate as-is! |

SWEET..........I did one at that big barn, at Old Orchard(don't know if you've been there)......I had to set up two PA's one upstairs, and one downstairs. I got a a two laser, four lens light, that really lit the barn up......turned out OK, but I'd never do that place again..... |

With a beautiful set up like that, you could easily command $2000 in Toronto. I plan on navigating more towards the weddings when I move. I've done about 15 weddings between last year and this year. |

simpmech, is that mirror ball the ADJ tri-led Spherion ball? Look like mine. Spotlight beam not needed. Built-in sharp led lights inside. Controlled to your preferred rotation fast or slow. Very nice set-up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3tuQ_x_8aU I highly recommend this as added light effect for an impressive presentation show. Set it on the floor, table top or hanging. Independent, dmx not required (or you can use with). Two models: Tri-Led (multi-color) or WH Led (white beam only). I prefer tri-led interchangeable multi-color. |

Brian A wrote: simpmech, is that mirror ball the ADJ tri-led Spherion ball? Brian, its actually the Chauvet Rotoshpere. Pretty much same light. Love it. We have quite an arsenal of lights, lasers etc. but this was kept pretty simple for elegance as the bride wanted. I love truss, truss warmers, hang moving heads from truss and/or scanners etc. But we have to charge alot more for that set up |

Big place, would be hard to fill up with light and sound . Sounds like you had the set up for it though |
