Going to buy a bunch of discs on Ebay, just wondering which brands every one likes, and why they like them. |

Buy all of ‘em then start the elimination process like we did. Kidding of course! Everybody’s got their own preference. My preference - SC, CB, JT, PS, & downloads KV, SBI, ZM etc. Why? Can't answer that question. I’d rather not say for fear of being instrumental in starting another legalities discussion. I might not be able to get out of here unscathed. Good luck & welcome to the forums. |

shelby1965 wrote: Not to sound dumb but I dont know recognize all of the initials, thanks though. KV = Karaoke Version CB = Chartbuster..............which is now DT = DigiTrax SC = Sound Choice PT = Party Tyme ASK = All Star Karaoke BS = Back Stage SGB = Sweet Georgia Brown TT = Top Tune AH = All Hits MM = Music Maestro SF = Sun Fly DK = Some long Japanese name ZM = Zoom PS = Pioneer Series, I think There are others, too. As for my favorites, lately I am liking what has been coming out from SBI, Sunfly, and Zoom. I have always liked DK, though some of their songs are recorded in a lower key than they should be. Pioneer is good but they seem to be recorded at a lower volume than most. Sweet Georgia Brown mostly sucks, but you can find a few exceptions. Sound Choice used to be the best, but they stopped producing. You can read the forums to find out more about their story. Chartbuster is good for Country, not good for much else. Not sure what DigiTrax will do. Welcome to the site. |

Sound Choice is my goto for most music up to 2009 Chartbuster - country & rock/pop for the last couple years, their earlier rock/pop was very hit/miss (now owned by Digitrax) SBI - for many tracks - I like custom discs and they offer these (now make Sunfly music as well) Zoom for many - but have found some real stinkers in there |

Got an email from karaoke bargain for Sep pop & country, 2 cds for $18.99. Good deal except I’m a little leery about the manu brand. Singer Solutions? Never heard. I have a feeling it’s a name change because they use to carry Fast Tracks or Quick Tracks, and most (not all) of their tracks are stinkers. http://karaokebargain.com/september-201 ... -5922.html |

Many of those get sung. Give it a shot, if they are burned, then you'll know! I bought one disc from a karaoke store that was a burn called Rebel Sync. Bought who I thought was a reputable company until they and several of their alias companies got nailed for selling illegal discs. |

Chartbusters for country Music Maestro for Doo-wop Pocket Songs and Stage Stars for Broadway Zoom, and DK for older Pop Party Tyme/ Sybersound for the newest stuff (lesser of the evils). Quick Hitz and All Star absolutely bite... |

Looks like a burn. Silver cd, no inner ring code marks front or back, no fancy fonts or background. Inkjet printed. No wonder, it only cost $10 free ship. A regular requested 2 songs off this cd, I’ll just give it to him. Can’t keep fake lookin' cds, song arrangement passable some really sound decent.
