yep that got you here...lol...ok heres my pro....my music track is bleeding thru into my vocal track, and i can't figure out whats wrong r different from my normal setup...i unplugged the mic and its still there....

i'm useing an Extigy soundcard...
an external mixer
and a external reverb

i checked all my setting on my comp. and i believe there all set the same as before when there was no bleed thru....

Could it be some cable r a bad imput?
i'm lost here, but my mixes suck...lol...and i have to work my butt off to get them to even sound that good, because when it picks up the music its also picking up and adding reverb, r any other f/x...

there is a $1.000 reward to anyone who helps me first....rrrrrr a 20 yr paid membership to s/s.....did i say i was j/kkkkkkk?

thanks so much

A little more information please...

Which mixer/effects are you using?
How are they hooked up?

Once you do that, double check the mixer settings. If you're not recording them together then only the mic will go through the mixer (or both with only the mic set to record). My guess is that the computer is plugged into the mixer on a channel and you're mixing the vocals w/ the audio. The audio track is also set to go through the effects causing the problem w/ the effects being applied to the music.

I don't know how you normally record - vocals only, vocals w/ music, or if you're multitracking directly from the mixer. I'm guessing that you are only running the vocals through the mixer and the problem is as stated above.

If this doesn't fix it let us know how the equipment is connected together and what/how you're recording.

And I'll pass on the rewards...well.... uh.... nah... I'll pass - this time...
