I've had a cold recently so I'm a little behind on my subs... I'm hoping it will be over soon so I can get up my genre subs for the last couple weeks.

I'm sort of wondering who I have to bribe to do a 'hip-hop' week though...
hmmmm......

BTW, I'd be more than happy to do all 7 minutes of 'Rapper's Delight'....

Since you insisted, I allowed him to come out and play with Y'all!

He has subbed and commented more than I have these past few weeks! :bawling:

Like the song says..."life happened"

I am slowly getting caught up on my singing and listening!

I am VERY happy that you all are taking part in the Genre of the Week! From what I hear, it's been pretty fun! I look forward to catching up with you all!

:D

aaaaawwwww yeah! , All In The Family!!! .....how bout this one....

We chased lady luck, 'til we finally struck Bonanza.
With a gun and a rope and a hat full of hope, planted a family tree. We got hold of a pot of gold, Bonanza.
With a horse and a saddle, and a range full of cattle, how rich can a fellow be?

Now quick request some one do another of my favorites from the 80's - I would, but at alas, no mic - yet [I know, I know, I'll get one today - maybe ;) ]

Guess what show it is from!

Look at what's happened to me-,
I can't believe it myself.
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world,
It should've been somebody else.

Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free-.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.

It's like a light of a new day-,
It came from out of the blue.
Breaking me out of the spell I was in,
Making all of my wishes come true-.

Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free-.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me

TV show was "The Greatest American Hero", and starred William Katt, son of actress Barbara Hale. It aired from 1981-1983.

And thanks Phil for the registration help!!

Well Done!

Yep "Greatest American Hero"

It was originally supposed to be a story about me, but that Dang, Stephen Cannell twisted it all up... you know that he suffers from dyslexia.

I LUV "The Greatest American Hero" ... That happens to be my very favorite theme song, and I almost recorded it. Did I miss someone doing it?? I also wish someone would have sung the moonlighting theme that Al Jarreau did.. it doesnt sit right in my voice.. more a guy one. Had a fun time hearing the tv themes.. good genre :)
