New and exciting news on the Karaoke Front! I just wanted to hear your thoughts about an Unplugged series. We are currently working on putting together an Unplugged line. We are shooting for 5 releases next week. I will post them as soon as they go live.

I have few unplugged versions listed next to the full version of the song such as: About A Girl and Come As You Are by Nirvana, Hand In My Pocket by Alanis Morissette, Freak On A Leash by Korn, Unbreakable by Alicia Keys. And I have yet to hear any.

All these years, it's always full versions. Never unplugged. Sometimes they will make an easy mistake of writing the song #, they’ll say I don’t want that version, etc, etc. I probably would be interested if your unplugged songs are not avail in full vers. But that’s just me, imho. :)

I was a little weary when I heard we were doing them too. With that said after hearing the tracks they are great! It might just be my old age making a bit calmer (LOL), but I really like them.

Some unplugged Journey would be great too.

Now we're talking! :) Journey - I'll buy those, irrespective if I have full vers. Can you please mention these songs to your musicians to start with: Don't Stop Believing, Separate Ways, Faithfully. :D

I can't picture much from Journey unplugged. Maybe Lights and Open Arms. I'd probably love it if I heard it. Wife is a huge Def Leppard fan so I see them every time they come close. They've been doing a few unplugged songs the last few years and the one that sticks out the most is, "Two Steps Behind". Saw REO do an unplugged of, "Time for me to Fly" that was pretty cool.

Keep the ideas coming! If we are able to obtain the licenses they will be done!

We love hearing the feedback!

As a singer, I'd love any of the unplugged versions that aren't already out there.

Man, I miss Unplugged. That was a great show.

We did an unplugged of "You Shook Me All Night Long" for a while that people liked pretty well.

Bob Seger "Night Moves" (followed all the way through)

Creedence "Who'll Stop the Rain"

Sludge Factory, Nutshell, Down In A Hole, Rooster, Black Gives Way To Blue, or anything else by them.

I had voted, and waited for Down in a Hole for a long time. It's the acoustic version, not bad, but for me I was disappointed because I wanted the album version.
Smooth....., Nutshell is available now on Karaoke Version as well. Many people had requested that on my front. Glad to see it out, and fairly accurate.

I really enjoy singing acoustic versions of songs at home but they always seem to get drowned out when trying to sing them in a crowded bar. There is a band called Boyce Avenue that has done some Journey songs in an acoustic style and they are available at karaokeversion.com

They are talking unplugged versions in this thread.
