I would like to instal my Peavey 115's from the ceiling. The drop ceiling has about 4ft between the concrete and the acoustic panels. Any suggestion as to how to mount them?

A few posters’ suggestions from this thread. I also posted a picture on how I rigged my set.

Those aren't meant to be flown by design, although it can be done. I'd take some heavy duty eye bolts, take the speaker apart, get about a 4" steel mounting plate to reinforce where each eye bolt goes through. This worked quite nicely with my Peavey SP5s and they are quite a bit heavier than the 115.
