"I Don't Know"...

How many times an evening do you get that answer... With me, it's usually at least a half-dozen times...

"What would you like to sing?"

"I don't know."

"Sorry. I don't have that song."

So... I'm gonna write one... perhaps even two - one for a male singer, and one for a female.... and call it/them "I Don't Know"

Unless there actually is a song with that title.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

I'm using Dragon naturally speaking 12.5 to write this.
that's pretty good Amy, I like to write parodies myself, and when I first came on this site, the end of 2005 or the beginning of 2006, the first two songs I subbed were parodies, which I had written. One that I subbed was called achie Breaky fart. I bet if I subbed it, you would at least chuckle. I recorded it on a cassette tape in 94 or 95, and made the MP3 from that recording. It's not very good, but I was shooting for funny, and not good.

Here is an idea. Have a song of the night song. Pick a good song that doesn't get sung often and write it's name on a poster board. The first person who sings the song of the night song gets a free drink.

And if someone comes up and says the don't know what they want to sing, recommend the song of the night.
