I am going to see if I can find some of the contact info I lost, but since digitrax seems to be releasing tracks originally made by DKK I thought I might suggest another karaoke producer that would make there offerings worthwhile.

You should talk to the owner of Karaokemaker and Singking. Not only did they produce Canadian artists that no one else did, the quality of the sound recordings are equal or maybe even superior to that of what chartbuster was (in my opinion*

just a thought

have a great day

+100 :)

I am not familiar with SingKing, but I am familiar with KaraokeMaker. I am trying to track down their April Wine disc these days but would be ecstatic to find all of them.

if you ever find a trooper disc for a reasonable price, don't tell anyone about it. That is the rarest one of the whole set, as to the best of my knowledge only had one printing *when they went back to the copyright owner to press more copies, the copyright holders jacked up the royalty fees to an unfeasable amount*

the highest I have seen a trooper disc go for is $275

I believe lonman said he had a couple of the singking discs.. You should stop by his show if he does. If not you can listen to samples on the Tricerasoft download site.

No I have the April Wine & Tragically Hip discs from Karaoke Maker. I also found a disc for a singer that had Dark Horse from Amanda Marshall which was also very good. I have no Sing King discs.

I hate to be so blunt, but Digitrax really needs to get their selection up to speed. I did a spot check the other day for classic rock and hit two songs in six artists. This is stuff that used to get done almost every week. It's hard to offer them as a viable option until their library is vastly improved. I assume they have the tracks but not the licensing.

I will pass both of these requests on the big guns.

Mr. Boo, we do have a lot of the older tracks that we just cannot release yet. We are waiting on licensing. It has been taking a little while to get done, but more and more publishers are getting back to us and coming on board with us every week.

Thanks. I don't mean to be harsh but it is what it is. I haven't put "requests" in because I figured these would be songs you already acquired but didn't have licenses for. Keep us posted when more are released!

It wasn't taken harshly at all. I have sent over the requests from the other thread to our licensing dept. We are currently working on trying to obtain liscenses for over 900 small publishers. We are making way but with that many it is hard to notice. If we get the licensing for another large publisher I will let you know. You will see a large number of tracks become available.
