So, Not only am I a karaoke host, but I am also a trained comedian. Being as such, when I heard the replay of a "This American Life" where they talk about doing jokes on the karaoke screen, I got excited. I am currently using tricerasoft karaoke software. They make it difficult to download outside music and play through their system. So, the question is, where can I get some of these jokes and how can I make them work on tricerasoft. And, yes, I first looked on tricerasoft before asking this question. Thanks!

Edit: oops--just got to the end of this article and it is not PG--if the link has to be removed then the spelling that seems to get the most info is joke-e-oke and it looks like at one point there was a software developed by a company called wired--but that was 2005.

You can do a Power Point and put it on the second screen.

Hmmm.....I can't imagine there are that many joke-a-oke routines.

I've heard "Picture" twice a night for the last 8+ years, I can't imagine hearing the same comedy routines over and over.

It's a cool idea, but I would use it VERYYYYYY sparingly, like once a night MAX.
