Anyone been there lately? I just went to finish up a disc I was building and they have a temp page up. And a link to buy mp3g's online that directs you to Karaoke Channel. Maybe they are going the way of SingTo The World and going to start blocking US buyers too! That would suck (@$%!)!

Maybe they are just rebuilding and had to shut 'er down for a little while.
But, if that is the case, you could always use a proxy.

This is very recent as I was on the site this past weekend looking at tracks for some singers at the show.

Did anyone else notice a forum member with the name "SELECTATRACK" logged on in the last hour or so? If so, it might have been good to ask them about this...I did not see this post until after they were gone...

select-a-track, sound choice custom disc, who's next? I guess "Chicken Little Syndrome" comes easy to some folks, but the fact of the matter is that the only thing to go on right now is what they actually are saying on their website: "We are in the process of CREATING A NEW PORTAL for our international customers so please check back very soon for progress." Of course, what the circumstances will be if and/or when this happens, remains to be seen...

I wouldn't hold your breath... Nobody should have expected them to be able to flaunt the PRS territory rules forever. They probably could have stayed under the radar had they not done so much Google ads over here.

Nope.... they are definitely blocking most US Ip's. My girlfriend called them and spoke to someone named Jack. He told her that due to "legal issues" they have had to take measures to demonstrate that they are not trying to sell over here. So it pretty much confirms that either the publishers or PRS or both are turning the screws on them. Let's see how long it takes before KV does the same.....

I just went to SELECTATRACK.com and got the same page that Lonnie displayed in his OP. I then clicked on the hyperlink for BUY MPS+G DOWNLOADS, and it brought me to the KARAOKE CHANNEL page. And, when checking out the TERMS and USAGE, it states the following: 11. Usage Rules
You acknowledge and agree to use the Service, including the Products available through the Service, in compliance with the applicable Usage Rules:
You agree to use the Service and the Products available through the Service for personal, non-commercial use only; ... which translates into "WHY BOTHER???!!!" for your average KJ.

Strange that it still comes up for me--I just tried it again. But I had heard they were going to have to block the US. I can even still sign in although I didn't try to buy anything. The only thing I can think of is we have satellite internet and I think someone once told me that the IP roams with that so maybe they don't know what to block?
