Hi again, I apologize for posting a new thread so soon, but I wanted to ask this while I could still remember to do so ... (old age) I have a Magicsing (aka Leadsinger) musikartridge/chip of Contemporary Christian songs. It's Vol. 21 and may have been discontinued. The problem I have is that I'd like to somehow, if possible, transfer these songs to a digital format or purchase them online. The chip is only compatible with the LS-2308, LS-2100 and LS-3700 microphones. There are several karaoke songs on this "chip" that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. I'd like to either find a reasonably priced mic that can let me sing these (or save them somehow), or perhaps find someone who has the mic and can download these songs. If this is inappropriate or against the rules please let me know, I don't want to cause a problem or be banned. Thanx again. |

that's ok. UPDATE: I discovered that some (many?) of the so-called "karaoke" tracks on these Leadsinger chips are actually MIDI versions that don't really resemble the original version. So I guess I won't bother trying to find a mic for it. My question now is: Is this true, Leadsinger/MagicSing karaoke songs are that bad? Thanx again. |

If you are using your karaoke stuff at home, you can download tracks to your PC and use free software to do an at home "show". MIDI tracks are cheep and or free but without a really good MIDI playback device you will not get a "real" music sound, and that can cost more then getting the real thing. |

Well I guess my question is...are the Leadsinger karaoke tracks just cheesy MIDI files? if so, what a shame since some of the titles I was actually interested in singing at church. |
