Post subject:  Karaoke to teach and preserve aboriginal Stoney language

Hi I want to create Karaoke videos to teach the Stoney language to Stoney Nakoda children from ages 4 to 18. I would like to be able to create DVDs and YouTube videos so these songs can be widely distributed to people who generally do not have Karaoke machines.

I want these videos to include a slide show so that when the song changes from singing about horses to elk the slide will change from a horse to an elk.

I also want to display text of the song.

Does anyone know of easy to use software that can do this?

You can use PowerPoint to create all the lyric swipes and graphics as well as sync everything to the music. Then use a video capture card to capture it as an HD Video that can be uploaded to YouTube.
