Post subject:  Question about Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood

All the download versions are the remix, I need the original. According to icroons, it's available on SC10052 (radio version, but I can't seem to find the disc), and SC3286 with no indication of whether it's the remix or not, but that's the only disc of the two I've been able to locate today. icroons doesn't say that the SBI and SF versions are the remix, but I know that they are. Anybody have SC3286 that could check it out for me?
Many thanks.

I believe the SC10052 is part of the Sound Choice GEM series, you won't find that individually.
The SC3286 is the Sound Choice Power Pick Series
it's also on Sound Choice Spotlight 8732 (hard to find)
Now I don't know what the remix sounds like. I have it on SC 8732 and it sounds like the Youtube version.

Michaeldiapers,

I've looked for Clint Eastwood on http://CustomBurn.com as they have Karaoke Channel tracks on there (clones of Sound Choice) and they've come up trumps:-

SR13199 Karaoke Channel ("Radio version") - Original version of song
SS00981 Pop Hits Monthly - Original version
PR06723, PR06724, PR06725 Priddis - Original versions with background vocal, no background vocal and lead vocal respectively
EK00115 Easy Karaoke - Original version. This may well be the full length album version of the song, as according to the site it is 5:33 minutes in length. The rest of them are around the 4min mark.
Also there's
SF00900 Sunfly - Remix version

Not everyone can access the Custom Burn site (although some other Forum members have found ways to circumvent the filters), so failing that there might some other sites about that have these - are EK still on Tricerasoft? The Pop Hits Monthly version is one of the ancient ones with olive coloured screens, so is unlikely to still be available via PHM directly. If you don't mind going down the custom CDG route then Proburn is where you'll be likely to find Easy Karaoke and Priddis versions. http://proburn.com and http://proburn-karaoke.co.uk are two British based outlets I can think of. There may also be an Australian one... I am aware one or more of them closed around the same time as Clark Music but am not sure which it is/was.

Hope this has been of help.

Thanks for all the help! I assume since nobody has said otherwise yet, that those custom sites are legal?

selectkaraoke.com is and actually gives a printed disc
tricerasoft doesn't do printed discs - just a blank cdr, not for commercial use per their terms.

The UK sites are blocked from US users for a reason, to circumvent the restrictions, might be saying something as to their legality.

I think the short answer is they are perfectly legal in the EU, but the USA have much more complicated laws in this field so (my interpretation) the sites use IP blocking as a precaution. Conversely, I am unable to access SelectKaraoke for more than a few seconds without getting booted to Select-a-track unless I keep hitting Esc as soon as each page loads. SelectKaraoke are affiliated with Tricerasoft in some way and I know the main Tricerasoft has carried Easy Karaoke tracks in the past. Not sure if it still does, but SelectKaraoke may be worth a try for the EK version of Clint Eastwood.
