When someone is selling a karaoke Machine and a hard drive w/5000 songs on craigslist.


I know ebay, you can flag it. But on craigslist?

5,000 or 50,000? In Craigslist, there is a box that says FLAG. It would be at the top of each listing (you have to click on the listing). Now, how effective that is, I couldn't say.

If you HAVE the discs that correspond with what is on the HD, rock and roll! If you don't. pay fr the unit and not the HD

I'm fairly certain that the way the Craigslist flag feature works is it automatically suspends the listing if two different people flag it. It's not like anyone reviews them, it's just systemic.

As far as the "legality" aspect. Although it is counter intuative to the "moral" dillema involved, the karaoke manufacturers could care less about the peeps who produce and sell illegal hard drives. They only prosecute KJs and venues. More money in it, and the bottom line isn't cleaning up the industry, it's civil litigation $$$.

I used to worry about those types of illegal listings on EBay and Craigslist, but trust me, you should just save your energy and let it go.

No this guy just keeps on selling this Karaoke Machine and his ad says

Karaoke player + Hard Drive 5000 songs loaded.


But I feel that flagging on ebay and Craigslist is different, in which ebay is more serious and they take karaoke seriously.

While Craigslist pretty much doesn't care. And yes I did flag it, still the ad still pops up.

Rev it may seem wrong but you should just follow The above advice.
The manufactures don't seem to care to put any kind effort into stopping these people.
