I received this email recently concerning large files... I haven't used this yet, but thought it may come in handy to some of you doing duets, etc... Ken (Kbonz) **************************** Hi all, I found a way of transferring large files such as scanned down Adobe Acrobat pdf files or large mp3s via e-mail. Go to www.sendthisfile.com Register by entering your e-mail address and chooses a password. You will be sent an activation e-mail. Then you can log in at www.sendthisfile.com and upload to their server (no FTP needed, no software needed). You enter the recipient's e-mail address and they will receive a link in their e-mail which thay can download the file from. No cluttering up inboxes or having returned mail due to delivery failure. TRY IT OUT - IT'S GREAT!!!!! Regards, Reggie Van Der W. Reggie's Ebooks |

I often will upload up to 5mb files on a site, such as geocities or something (if you have a Yahoo ID, you HAVE a geocities account!)... then I just send people that link. never heard of this though. must be a site where the stuff expires after ten days or so! |

Another is www. yousendit .com I don't know if this is allowed to be posted, so Mods, if it is not, delete away ! This one is free, and all you do is enter the person's email address you are sending it to, and then upload the file. Then, it will email a link to the person, and they can retrieve the file. It stays in their database for a week |
