We will be heading to the Sanibal\Captiva Islands in less than two weeks. Does anyone know if there are any karaoke bars on the Islands? We would prefer to stay on the Islands if possible.

Most of Sanibel Captiva is resort-owned. There are really only a handful (maybe a dozen) bars and restaurants that are not contained within the resorts.

George and Wendy's Sanibel Seafood Grille. 2499 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel advertises karaoke on Thursdays starting at 9:00 p.m.

Sanibel Fish house advertises karaoke Fridays:

So, I'm thinking to myself.... "That lucky bugger, Mr. Boo... heading off to the South Seas for vacation. Wish I could afford to do that."

So, I flash up Google Earth, thinking some exotic island near Tahiti, or perhaps the Tuvalu group of islands... only to find out it's in Florida.
