Recent letter to Compuhost,
To Karaokeware.com makers of Compuhost and Fasttracks. CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY THE DATABASE IS 11 MONTHS BEHIND? SINGER SOLUTION HAS DISC 434 OUT NOW AND THE LATEST DISC IN YOUR DATABASE IS 423 AND 422 IS MISSING. (I AM USED TO YOU BEING 3 MONTHS BEHIND FOR THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS BUT THIS IS GETTING STUPID)THEY PUT OUT 2 DISCS PER MONTH ONE POP ONE COUNTRY. POP 19 20 22 ARE THE ONLY POP DISCS YOU HAVE LISTED!? THEY HAVE SS 415-434 AND 015-033, 37 DISCS, OF THAT YOU HAVE ELEVEN TOTAL IN THE DATABASE. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS. KARAOKE SCENE FORUMS WILL BE THE NEXT PLACE I COMPLAIN IF YOU DO NOT CORRECT THIS BS. All caps because I am PISSED that I have to type in every artist and title after paying $130 so that I wouldn't have to! cc: fw: everywhere!!!!
The Mr Entertainer list goes to disc 67 of the 118 discs they have produced that discs is from March of 2010! ONE HUNDRED THIRTY DOLLARS for an inconvenience thanks. Sunfly and PHM seems to be the only things up to date.

Who are you to say they are unlicensed? You have copies of their contracts? I know a couple of "licensed" brands that distributed unlicensed music. You think they are in there?

You should be thankful that you own FastTracks, period! The best software with the best support! Never question the powers at CompuHost. Just be thankful for such quality software. Now, I think you need to apologize to them for that email you sent them.

I may have been a bit harsh but when I have 2 hours to rip 10 CD's and I can only get 5 done because of having to take a photo of every disc before it goes in the drive, reference the photo to type all the track names and song titles, IT SUCKS! I didn't pay fat money to waste my time.

It really is a shame that KJPro just shut down. Their Database was the most comprehensive in spite of the errors. It could have been cleaned up without too much effort. I can only hope that someone got through to them and they are working to sell the IP.
We desperately need a new karaoke database and apps to work with it.

Music Book Deluxe is up to date on everything and the database is clean. If you go the kjpro.com, you can buy Music Book at a discount.
