Hard for me to use my trailer right now, so been gigging from my Santa Fe. My table won't fit so today I bought this. I have a skirting for it and a lower shelf. It rocks!

I have a similar table except mine contains 98% of all the plug ins (mics, EFX, A/B switch, cd player, power strips, video converter, hard drive, etc.) with it. Here are a couple pictures of my table. It took me a while to get the layout right and it is way more complicated because a Pioneer CD player is included. It has served me flawlessly for 6-7 years. It is reasonably light at 50 lbs. considering it contains everything except the laptop at that weight. I do have to be careful when carrying it because all the knobs are exposed, but in all the years that has never been a problem.

The design has proven to be very useful in storage (fits in my car's trunk) and gigging (a perfect work height and layout). The total cost was about $125, which included the shelf kit (Home Depot $40), and the table legs minus the table top ($80 online somewhere), and some pvc pipe and joints. It required some other pieces too but not much money... maybe another $20. Now the hours for the design layout is another story. Put it this way my finished product uses 2 shelves and it took 5 to get it right.

I'd have to disagree w/ya. It's more than a table. For one thing, it will come in handy in my garage. 2nd, it's got a lower shelf, comes in handy when I bring my own drinks. Takes up little storage space or transport space but will more than hold my rack~
