Some where, Out there . . . for virtually every song . . . is someone singing karaoke who puts the original artist's vocals to shame. My opinion obviously, but I bet you can all think of many songs where you prefer listening to a particular karaoke singer's version over the original. I've heard many songs sung at shows that I hadn't heard before and they were awesome. Some time later I would come across the original and not be impressed at all. Probably one of the bigger reasons some artists don't want their stuff available in karaoke. |

Most singers are not the songwriter(s)/publisher(s), so I doubt that's it. |

I believe he's talking about only hearing songs at karaoke and liking them there first, THEN hearing the original song & realize you like hearing the karaoke people sing it better because the original singer doesn't do it as much justice. |
