The "overly bubbly twins" both in personality and apparent amount consumed get on stage
Miss their que on first line - giggle giggle - audience laughs hard

Miss it again - giggle giggle - audience laughs

Miss it again - giggle giggle - audience titters
reset again
Miss it again - giggle giggle - audience quiet
reset again
Miss it again - giggle giggle - audience rolling eyes - kj still oblivious
reset again - Seriously? KJ is a gal, don't think she had designs or even a chance on either of them so WTF?
Miss it again - giggle giggle - room is absolutely quiet
reset again
finally butcher their way through the song

I'm always happy to oblige with a restart - even 2 once in awhile but when the audience is giving the thumbs down or slit the throat motions, even a novice KJ should let it play through.

That's just an amateur KJ with no control of his own show right there.

Agree.....I will give one restart, then one chance after that to change their song completely, but I don't let anyone waste everyone's time! :angel:

One restart! If it is my fault (ie: bad file or bad mfg. choice) I will try to fix the problem. Otherwise they are on their own.

Yep one restart and only if it's under45 sec to a minute (depending on when lyrics start). Not going to restart a song halfway through.

I too would only do one restart. This might have made me use my instabutton sounds on Hoster for the first time in a show that wasn't the applause sound. May be the toilet flushing sound or the gong would be appropriate. The singer's wouldn't have liked it, but I bet the crowd would have.

eh, it depends, for me. those 2 gigglers i would've kept restarting for them too. i only give one generous restart for my regulars because they should know better. but i think as kjs we must put ourselves in other people's shoes. i've had times as a singer when i get up in front of a crowd and can't get it together. new people tend to get a pass from me.

oh and i always encourage folks to finish their song. if they mess up and wanna give the mic back to me mid-song, i disagree and push them to finish. surprisingly most of them do and appreciate that i made them finish.
