I can only estimate the first 2 years as I was more of a hobbyist at the time and didn't keep detailed records. Midway through the 3rd year I started keeping very detailed records.

2011 - ~30 shows (July to Dec) (only 1 venue during this time)
2012 - ~70 shows (only 1 venue during this time)
2013 - ~350 (Started the year with 2 shows a week and ended the year with 20 shows a week)
2014 - 1142 shows (Started the year with 20 shows a week and ended the year with 28 shows a week)
2015 - 540 shows YTD (Started the year with 28 shows a week. Currently running 24 shows a week)

2132 = Total Shows Delivered since July 2011

My best client is Yamaha..

I have done a little over 2500 myself and my company is a little over the 5000 mark since 1991.

Five. I don't have a karaoke career, but one KJ friend of mine had to go into the hospital for an extended stay, so I picked up his shows while he was laid up.

There's a reason I sing karaoke and don't host. Much respect to you guys for dealing with all the hassles.

This made me sit down and think, because I really don't know. It has to be several thousand by now.

And decreasing by the year!

I love the "hassles", but I've only done maybe two hundred or so. I guess that keeps me as a new bee.

I've done as few as 1 per week and as many as 9 (2 on Sat & Sun) as a single op for the last 10 years.

I've also done 2 "mini-shows" for 3 or 4 days a week with the Youth Foundation's after school program for the last three years.

Not counting those, the average is about 20 events a month, give or take.

So... 2000 - 2400 would be a guestimate.
