List your pet peeves with specific tracks or specific versions of tracks here. Eg if a version is too slow, or a version sounds like midi. My peeve: Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - I have not heard a version of this song that sounds even remotely like the original song. The AllHits and Sweet Georgia Brown versions both blow. Also the first line of the first verse ("You've seen life through distorted eyes, you know you had to learn") is always missing, which bugs me immensely. |

One in particular comes to mind. Everyone likes the song because of the way it was recorded with vocals. Vanilla Fudge - You Keep Me Hangin' On On the two versions I know of it is missing a full verse. Same goes for Legend Series Billy Paul's - Me and Mrs. Jones. A lot of DK Karaoke gets on my nerves with that cheesy midi, but not all. I actually have a singer that wants every version she sings to be DK. |

The All Star version - while still the same music as the All Hits/SGB, they fix the missing first lyric. The music itself is not bad by any stretch!

The music isn't BAD per se, but the guitar tone is chunkier and more modern than in Sabbath's version. I will have to look for the All Star version, and give it a buy when I find it. I actually don't do the song anymore only because of the missing lyric. |

That is probably one of a very few All Hits/SGB recorded well - if they didn't omit that first verse, it would be their best track. Here is the link for All Star. http://www.allstarcustom.com/Karaoke-Songs/sabbath/ |
