Downloads and custom discs are blocked to the US, there are still several UK retailers (including us, website on profile) who stock the monthly CDGs from Mr Entertainer and Sunfly.

Forget Mr. Entertainer

ZOOM hits are all the same tracks and cost is only .22 cents (CAD) per track
Mr. Entertainer still offered at .44 cents (CAD) per track.
Sunfly .50 Cents (CAD)

All are from same Record pool and quality is same.

These are still being shipped to Canada.

Either way, they are only licensed for UK so you're buying Pirate CD's.

I am sorry to ask this question outside of the "Legal Questions" sections but... I know why the purchase of downloads are blocked, but why would the purchase of a custom discs be blocked?

Hello everyone...finally...Im Back....with moving and tryng to put my show back together..,..I was very disappointed to learn that I can no longer get the MR ENTERTAINER CDGs....I loved their Pop selection....now what am I going to do...oh well

Yep, lots most of the UK manus are banned from US sales now for not paying for US licesning.

I buy my monthly Mr Entertainer disks from ebay and have them shipped vs downloading them when you were able to download.

Mr. Entertainer is SBI, not Zoom. Zoom is it's own company.

As Smoothedge69 says, Zoom make all their own tracks they don't buy them in from the likes of SBI. Zoom stopped producing CDGs in the Pop Chart Picks range in 2014 as sales had dropped too low, I believe the new 2016 Part 1 and 2 discs were made purely to get the Adele tracks out. Current UK licensing only allows a maximum of 5 tracks per artist on a single disc, hence the need to release 2 discs. I could be wrong, but the current issue with Sony et al seems to revolve around selling copies of tracks (specifically downloads), not original media. We haven't been informed by any of the UK publishers of any territorial restrictions when selling their products.

On occasion I will find a Zoom track that matches my SBI track exactly music wise, but that could just be they bought a recorded track from the same source. Normally they are very different!
