Personally, I prefer to use books.
CaseLogic has some nice ones - here are some that I recently purchased:
They hold 352 discs in protective cloth and plastic. Plus they store nicely

I am in the middle of disc inventory and I need more CD cases. I am currently using the Odyssey CCD450E. Holds almost 500 discs in paper/vinyl sleeves. It is the largest capacity I have found that meets my requirements. http://www.odysseygear.com/odyssey-prod ... d450e.html Does anyone know of a higher capacity case? Requirements - Hard sided Stackable No Wheels (unless they won't interfere with stacking) I need to make a decision on this pretty quickly. I have 10 of the above Odyssey cases in an online Cart ready to purchase. |

Thanks Phil! I have bought out many KJ's over the years. Many of them used those books to store. If they stored the books flat, particularly for long periods of time without temp/humidity controls, the silk screening on the discs sticks to the pages. Sometime lifting off the top layers when trying to separate. If they stored them on end (with the CD's standing on edge), MOST of the time, the disc doesn't stick (though I have seen it happen). If you use the discs on a regular basis, it isn't an issue. For me, the discs are being inventoried, then going into storage so I am going to stick with a hard case. |

Chris - Damn! I didn't consider that... I have the disc cases stored like books on a shelf in my house. They do take up a lot of room (I do get grief from the GF!  )I didn't consider the possible damage... Yikes! As mine are stored/inventoried also and have been for sometime. Hmmm... how much are the cases you are considering? |

Thanks Karen. I have tried those as well. The black sections of those are a flimsy particle board style material. The cases seem solid when empty but once they have weight in them, they flex and bend and come apart pretty easily. I ended up ordering 10 of the Odyssey cases I linked. |

I agree with buying something on the market is the much cheaper option. |
