Man I get confused I thought there was a forum just for suggestions. either I am crazy or I just cant find it again...anyway here is my suggestion or question whatever... Can we get a blues selection in the genre... We have motown but I take that as more of an era (like the victorian era) Well I guess thats about it Thanks  |

R&B is different from Blues IMHO. R&B is more contemporary and more like the Motown soul sound. Things like Barry White, William Bell, Black Moses, The Staple Singers would be more of the R&B sound. Some might even consider Sade and Boyz II Men R&B. Blues is more typical of Blind Lemon Jefferson, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Booker T., Lightnin' Hopkins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and even some Eric Clapton. Just my .02 worth....  |
