Here is the list of the top 500 most requested songs in 2016 at the Thunderbird! There were a grand total of 19,995 songs sung, of which 4,552 were unique titles (sang at least once). That number is up 132 from last year meaning more people are stepping out to try new things. Top 500 are BOLDED http://www.lonmanproductions.com/top5002016.htmWould love to see stats from anyone elses shows to see what's being sung as well.

Excellent idea posting the stats...gives a pretty good example of what songs should be in a KJ's collection. Thanks for posting!

The stats posted is a brilliant idea. However my stats and maybe because i'm in a tourist area + 12hr shows + 7 days/nights per week but only for 6 months. Just posting top 5 all have been sung more than 150 times this season.
1) Don't stop Believing - Journey (sung by multiple singers) 2) Summer Nights - John Travolta & Olivia Newton-John (sung by multiple singers) 3) Picture - Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow (sung by multiple singers) 4) Uptown Funk - Bruno Mars (Popular Kids Song) 5) 7 Years - Lukas Graham (Popular Kids Song)
runner up: 6) Hotline Bling - Drake (sung by many young adults) 7) Wagon Wheel - Darius Rucker
Losing trend and not requested as much as previous seasons: Crazy - Patsy Cline
average seasonal artist male Johnny Cash trending with Ring of fire, Folsom Prison Blues & Jackson (duet)
Average seaonal artist female Adele trending with Rolling in the deep, Someone like you, Hello Lady Gaga - various songs.
Most used karaoke manufacturer > DK Karaoke Mr. entertainer (as chosen by kj's)
Top trending artists 2016 karaoke
1) Taylor Swift 2) Adele 3) Carey Underwood 4) Bruno Mars
Top songs performed by kids under 10 years old: frozen soundtrack - Let it go

strange to see just HOW different the lists can be in different areas. Lon, your top two didn't even get into my top 50 KNF, Uptown Funk dropped way low this year and i have only had Hotline Bling done once. surprised to see DK and MRE and not SC as your most used. i get stuck with Picture at the top of my list.... and people wonder why i drink....

I wanted to come to one of your shows before, but the fact that you have five different Tom Waits songs--and that people actually sang them--really makes me want to make the trip out there.

The shocker for me on Lon's list was 'Your Cheating Heart" only sung one time?
I've had customers who want to sing that song every single week.

I've actually started to use your list, which I emailed to myself, to find new karaoke songs I hadn't sang before.

Well the guys that want to sing Hank senior are definitely getting up there in age, but they still love to come out and sing. Some of them were in bands in their youth and they really get a smile on their face when they get to song those old favorites. And you couldn't ask for better customers. They spend money and they never cause any trouble.
