I for one am a stickler when it comes to neatness, which contributes to safety. For example, my speaker cables are are held down with Gaffer tape, power and HDMI cables coming from the monitor to my table are protected by rubber cable cover which you can walk on with no danger of damaging the cables. And every other exposed cable gets secured with velcro cable ties. I try to make things look as neat and professional as possible and minimize the risk of someone tripping over any unsecured cables/cords. Does anyone else do this? What are you all doing? |

I use either gaff tape or rubber backed door mats to cover wires on the floor. No wires are ever exposed to customers where it's a hazard. |

I got to be honest... I don't hide my wires. I've wanted a facade for a while but after all this time, I probably won't change my messy ways. |

I hear there's a guy in San Whereverthehell that has a whole garage full. He's having a blowout sale for anyone who can open the garage door and survive long enough to get one into a vehicle. |

i run my cables up instead of along the floor. i'm always by some wall so i just go up and across the corner. nothing to tape down or trip over. |

I really try to be as neat as I can but it never works out that way for me. I guess i am just a messy person. if there is a real tripping hazard, I will tape cords down however.. I've just never been able to get it to look the way I wish it did. -James |
