Has anyone else noticed that if you are looking for backing tracks on iTunes since May 1st, it's nearly impossible to find them using the search window in the upper right of the iTunes Store? It used to be easy to find them by typing the song title followed by the word karaoke. Now...nada. Searching for most of the karaoke 'artists' (companies) fails as well. The songs are still 'there' within the iTunes ecosystem, but they're not coming up using their search feature. If you go to a standard browser and google search: iTunes karaoke 'song title', the results you want most times appear. When you click in one of those results to 'open in iTunes', it finds the song or artist properly. But if you search again directly from within iTunes with the exact same item you just found, it fails. This all started on or about May 1st. I'm perplexed.

Did iTunes just shut the door on karaoke backing track sales for good?

The iTunes Store has removed searching for nearly all karaoke backing tracks from it's search box.
