Hey everyone, Long-time KJ here from Philadelphia. I have been running shows for 25 years under Kircher Entertainment and I have used just about every piece of KJ software out there -- CompuHost, Karma, PCDJ, you name it. After years of dealing with rotation headaches the old-fashioned way (paper slips, two-pile systems, the whole deal), I started building my own solution. It is called Auto-KJ. The core idea is simple: rotation fairness should not be something you have to think about. The software should handle it. Round-based tracking, duplicate singer detection, configurable duet rules -- the stuff we all do manually every show. It is open source (GPL-3.0), free desktop app, runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Built on top of OpenKJ with active development. Happy to answer questions or take feature requests. I know what KJs need because I have been doing this for longer than I care to admit. -- Paul |

I have been using CompuHost for over 20 years. For me, it's perfect. I would never use anything else. |
