Post subject:  I got to meet another forum member!
[font=Comic Sans MS]I was fortunate to meet atxklown yesterday!  He had sent me a pm stating he would be in our neck of the woods over the weekend and lo and behold I met a forum member for the first time!

I  first met him at our store Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed speaking with him.  I got to hear him sing last night as he stopped by with his family before heading to Ada.  James sang off his new disc (current Rock) and then sang country our book!  He's a great singer and the diversity of his songs fits perfectly with the group at our show!

I  am gonna surprize melly one of these nights ..... When i want to get out of town..It's only about 150 miles south.. Look out Melly here I come..

:wave: After being back from driving the 400+ miles and I gotta say that Big Thumbs Up to Susie and Richard for their show.  Good rotation, good songlist, good crowd (esp for a Texan visiting OK) and it wasn't cliched song after cliched song like other places do.  People actually sing other songs in the book.
 Major cultural clash though, the only differences is Austin has 6 pt beer and a smoking ban in the clubs,  I'm not a drinker so that was insignificant but I had to febreeze my jacket to get the smoke out of it.  LOL  And I got to tell everyone, their store is my new place to get my cdgs.  Before I either ordered online or go to a karaoke store in Dallas if I went to OK for occasionally visits to family & friends, but now with their prices and discounts, it's my first place to go to.

[font=Comic Sans MS]Thanks for the wonderful compliments on our show and store!   We really enjoy what we do because of the people we meet!  We really enjoyed meeting you and loved the way you fit in.  Now anyone I meet in the future from the forum really has a lot to follow!

I know what you mean about the Febreeze!!  I quit smoking 3/3/02 and I won't take anything other than my shoes that can't be washed into a club here in Oklahoma!  I personally don't know about the beer as I haven't had beer in years but Richard and our beer drinking friends love going where they allow a strong beer.

Whooo hooo! come on down...we have lots of fun sweets.

My aunt and uncle used to live in Greeley..up till about 5 years ago. Come on..i'll buy you a shot!...I've been very lucky to meet foxey, tony tiber, dona, and Imatunelover this summer. They all came down...and let me tell you..them people can SING!!...
