Post subject:  What is your drink of choice?
When doing a gig or just going to a karaoke show - What is your drink of choice?

When I'm working I have my coffee and a glass of water always by my side. I even have a special mug I keep at the bar that I use to keep my java hot. Some people find this odd. I find soda kills the vocal chords and besides have you ever had soda from a bar? - yuch!

I can't get used to typing in this new username, LmAo....... just when I got used to typing in Lil Mizz Attitude instead of BlueStainedShoes, SOMEbody had to go and change it again.  :madgo:

Ummm... if just "going to karaoke"... are you meaning non-alcoholic stuff? I mean, is there such a thing? haha, kidding....

Alot of times, just plain ol' mother earth..... ice water. With lemons in it.

If I'm having alcohol, it's 9 times out of 10 a cranberry n' vodka.

I usually have one of two shots of buttery dimples (haha, edited for childrens viewing)

Or , sometimes Budweiser- in a bottle.

Unless of course it's my birthday, then all of the above.  :D

Never ever do I have soda, I don't drink much of it at all, I don't think I've ever had a soda water in a bar.  Or coffee either, I'm a "cup a day" person, and I drink the "half caf" stuff - can't drink coffee at night.  :no:

while KJing it's miller lite
while eating crawfish it's miller lite
while playing poker it's miller lite
while out on the boat it's miller lite (you starting to see a trend here?)
but
while eating it's wine, usually from coppola's selection
when there's no beer it's tito's vodka (local product, highly recommended!) and 7up with a twist of lime.
if i'm sinigng and having allergy problems, it's gatorade

Most of the time, sodas, Pepsi or 7-Up

At the one bar where we normally hang out, and host a karaoke show on Thrs & Fri nites, it is a Long Island Iced Tea.  I get em by the mini-pictures, and about 2 of em will last me the nite.  Thank god the drinks are free for me when hosting, otherwise I would probably drink up my profits.

When hostessing a KJ show ... I stick to water with lemons or pineapple juice with a little 7 up mixed in ... to give it a fizz.  

when socializing... if I am drinking alcohol... It's either a [highlight=blue]Blue Hawaiian[/highlight] or a [highlight=orange]Fuzzy Naval.[/highlight]

However... my favorite beverage is my morning coffee with french vanilla creamer.... and I have at least 2-3 cups daily.  :shock:

Captain & Coke at the place I used to work at. Now at my present place it's... Ice & Coke :(. All time favorite drink (the first one, that is).

H2O all the time...But when I am out I like either spiced rum and pinapple or vodka and 7 with lime.  Been drinking the vodka lately..Cranberry is good in that too....Never beer...If you see me drinking beer, I've had too much already and it should be taken away from me....If I am going to do a shot I like buttery dimples or tequila rose....I don't like coffee unless I am in the northwest and then it can only be a caramel machiato with whipped cream and only before noon or I'll be up all night long....I can't drink much caffeine...It really likes to keep me wired so I just stay away.......

I hope I answered the question...Does anyone want to buy me a drink??? LMAO

Wow, you drink like I do. I love Rum, though I hardly ever have it. Vodka n' cranberry is my fav (less hangover, haha)..... and I really hate beer. But, if I feel like drinking, and don't want to overdo it, beer keeps me paced alot better than vodka or JD does.

Do they not sell those in the south?  :shock:  I love a good caramel machiato or a vanilla latte once in a while...... though they are awfully sweet. And I only drink them on occasion, and always feel guilty...... I never could fathom paying $4.50 for a cup of coffee.  :shock:
But, it wires me too..... I'm even a lightweight with coffee for cryin' out loud.  LOL

I limit myself to 1 alcoholic drink a night--usually red wine, margarita (no salt), sex on the beach (yes, that's what it's called, ok????), or fuzzy navel.  As for non-alcoholic drinks, I like 7up, Sprite, Mountain Dew, or good ol' water.  :)

But actually, my all-time favorite thing to drink is...milk!  :)  That was my biggest craving when I was pregnant.  My son loves milk, so I think he must have been inside me saying "More milk, Mommy, more milk!"  I don't drink milk when I'm out karaoke-ing, though.

That's funny, I'm that way too. I have a panic attack when we are out of milk, I drink it alot- usually always with my supper, and alot of times in restaraunts- I get milk..... I don't drink soda hardly ever, and water gets boring with food..... and I do love milk.  :yes:  I know lots of adults who just don't touch it - ever. I don't see how.

If I'm home, lots of milk or water, never coffee.  But if I'm out at a club, I do like
Spanish Coffees , rum and coke or bourbon on ice with a coke back.
